The primary use of Carbon or Graphite components are as seals in a rotary joints where they control the flow of liquid or steam from a stationary supply pipe to a rotating machine part, or as vanes in the rotary type of machines due to their self lubricating properties, low specific density, hardness and inertness to hot/cold environment.

Various grades of Carbon are available as per customer’s request.
